School Travel Expert Panel (STEP): Modeshift has a position on the School Travel Expert Panel which was setup and is managed by the Department for Children Schools and Families and the Department for Transport Travelling to School Project Board.
Meetings of STEP which take place on a termly basis are attended by either the Chair or Vice Chair. At these meetings, Modeshift aims to represent the views and interests of the sustainable school travel professions who make up its membership and to ensure that government policy in this area supports their work both now and in the future.
