Delivering Effective Workplace Travel Plans – An open discussion forum for local authorities, businesses and Modeshift Partners

Following the launch of the STARSfor Travel Plan Ratings scheme and the subsequent success of Next PLC in achieving the Gold level of STARSfor, we are inviting local authorities, businesses and the Partners of Modeshift from across the country to come together for an open discussion forum that explores how we can all work together to deliver more effective Travel Plans.

This will be the second meeting of this group which has been formed to forge stronger links between all interested parties that are working to promote more sustainable and active travel across the business sector. The meeting is being co-ordinated and hosted by Next PLC at their Leicestershire Head Office where their Travel Plan has achieved remarkable results, including reducing single occupancy car use from 79% down to 49% over the last 3-years.

The two key themes of this meeting will be looking at how businesses and local authorities can communicate more effectively together when promoting sustainable travel; and how in partnership, we can address issues around congestion and managing car parking demand for businesses. This will be achieved through an open discussion forum at which everyone will have the opportunity to share their own successes and difficulties, whilst also hearing about best practice from around the country.

To book a space at the event please use the booking options below.

Please note: There is no charge for attendance at this meeting. As such, please enter n/a in the PO Number box on the booking form
