RED January

MIND, the mental health charity has launched RED January which recognises the benefits that physical activity brings to well-being to help beat those January blues.

As most people need to make a journey on an almost daily basis – whether that be to school, work or the shops – choosing cycling, walking or scooting is one way to get active every day. You could even throw in a hop, skip, jump, boogie, pogo, sledge or ski if you are feeling really energetic and the weather permits!

So why not sign up here and encourage others to do the same?

If you work in school travel you may find some of your schools are already participating, in which case this is a great opportunity for them to tick off an initiative towards ModeshiftSTARS accreditation.
